Hamilton, Ontario: The 'X' Zone Radio Show which is hosted by Rob McConnell and produced in the studios of REL-MAR McConnell Media Company in Hamilton, Ontario scooped the Vatican bank money-laundering scandal story 8 days before any other media covered the story.

On Monday, September 13, Robert W Morgan, the author of Citizen Spy: Vatican Cover-Up: The Mob, Money-Laundering and Murder, (published by Title Town Publishing) was McConnell's guest for an hour of the daily four-hour show. This was the same date that Morgan's book was available for sale.

In this exclusive interview, Morgan talked about his life as a confidential informant, infiltrating the Mafia for the FBI and DEA to such a level that he cost the mob a documented half-billion dollars.

Citizen Spy: Vatican Cover-Up: The Mob, Money-Laundering and Murder is Morgan's expose of the most sophisticated money-laundering scheme in the history of international crime.

Morgan explained the Vatican bank cover-up that forced the murder of Pope John Paul I and the curb side confession on who arranged the killing.

Morgan then told of methods used in laundering mob money through Banco Ambrosiano, the Vatican Bank in Italy.

Morgan brought 'X' Zone listeners into the life of a spy; a little-known world fantasized on by the young and only dreamed about by most of society.

Major players include infamous mobsters Joseph Bonanno, Meyer Lansky and John Charles Piazza III, all with solid links to the Five Families.

Just as he patiently hunted playground drug dealers, Morgan told listeners how he waited for certain crime figure family members to pass before writing Citizen Spy: Vatican Cover-Up: The Mob, Money-Laundering and Murder, fearing a hit placed on his life.

It was on Tuesday, September 21, 8 days after Morgan's interview on The 'X' Zone Radio Show with Rob McConnell that the world media carried the story about Vatican Bank officials were under investigation in a money laundering case.

Robert W Morgan's interviews are available at www.xzonepodcast.com.

The 'X' Zone Radio Show is syndicated internationally and is available through REL-MAR McConnell Media Company.

ABOUT ROBERT W MORGAN:

Robert W. Morgan's career as a promising young filmmaker gained the interest of the top members of the American Mafia and actions he performed on their behalf won their trust. As an up-and-coming writer/director, they knew he had sold his first four screenplays to Ivan Tors Studios; he had written, produced, and directed Bloodstalkers; and had a feature-length docudrama and TV specials made about his more esoteric interests. Larry King, Tom Snyder, and Howard Cosell reported his escapades, and he was frequently in the news. His series concept evolved into the TV hit In Search Of....

Morgan's edgy activities with CIA's Frank Sturgis and spymaster E. Howard Hunt and their anti-Castro Cuban movement earned him a pass among the Mafia; they loved knowing he was leading a double life. They did not suspect it was triple. He was also working as an undercover operative for the DEA and the FBI, and his personally chosen targets were among the highest echelons of those Mafia attorneys who laundered Mafia profits into legitimate businesses. He is currently writing full time and is developing fresh film projects.
