Is There A 2012 and 666 Connection?

by Rob McConnell

Is there a connection between 2012 and the number 666?

Well, if you take 2012 and subtract 666, you arrive at the year 1346, the year that the Black Death which is estimated to have decreased Europe's population 30% - 60%, reducing the world's population from an estimated 450 million to between 350 and 375 million in 1400.

The Black Death was one of the deadliest pandemics in human history, peaking in Europe between 1348 and 1350.

Usually thought to have started in Central Asia, it had reached the Crimea by 1346. From there, probably carried by fleas residing on the black rats that were regular passengers on merchant ships, it spread throughout the Mediterranean and Europe.

Is it possible, that the number 666 relates to another pandemic that will once again have a dramatic effect on the population of this planet, decreasing the human life forms by hundreds of millions?

We already know that super bugs are real, and are resistant to present day antibiotics.

What would happen if we were faced with another outbreak of a super strain of The Black Death or even the dreaded Spanish Flu pandemic of 1918?

The 1918 flu pandemic (the Spanish Flu) was an influenza pandemic that spread across the world. Historical and epidemiological data are inadequate to identify the geographic origin. Most victims were healthy young adults, in contrast to most influenza outbreaks which predominantly affect juvenile, elderly, or weakened patients. The flu pandemic was implicated in the outbreak of encephalitis lethargica in the 1920s.

The pandemic lasted from March 1918 to June 1920, spreading even to the Arctic and remote Pacific islands. Between 50 and 100 million died, making it one of the deadliest natural disasters in recent human history. An estimated 50 million people, about 3% of the world's population (1.6 billion at the time), died of the disease. Some 500 million, or 1/3 were infected.

Tissue samples from frozen victims were used to reproduce the virus for study. Among the conclusions of this research is that the virus kills via a cytokine storm (overreaction of the body's immune system) which perhaps explains its unusually severe nature and the concentrated age profile of its victims. The strong immune systems of young adults ravaged the body, whereas the weaker immune systems of children and middle-aged adults resulted in fewer deaths.

Like The Black Death, the Spanish Flu lasted peaked for 2 years.
The cause or the cure for the Spanish Flu still has not been discovered.

Could it be that the prophecy of 666, the Mark of the Beast is actually referring to a disease, or could the prophecy be a warning of a man-made biological agent being accidentally or deliberately released on an unsuspecting world?

Could 666 actually be the number of the chosen few who may be fortunate enough to be given the antidote allowing them to be the chosen few who will be responsible for repopulating planet Earth and keeping the history of civilization alive?

The rate that a pandemic the size and strength would travel around the world with our present modes of transportation would definitely be a factor in the spread of the disease.

Could it be that Mother Nature looks at humans as germs infecting her body, the same way that we look at infections germs that make us ill? Could it be that the Black Death or the Spanish Flu and other pandemics that the human race has been subjected to throughout history are her antibiotics, killing the "human germs" that are infecting her?

What will happen when the antibiotics that remain effective on certain strains of germs no longer work?

The connection between 2012 and 666, like all the other doomsday prophecies is a theoretical account based on our planets history, speculation and the coincidental mathematical sum that was derived from subtracting 666 from the year 2012 resulting in the year 1346 and then referencing the year 1346 with major world cataclysmic events.

Is it possible? Well, according to members of the medical community, it's not a matter of "if," but "when," the same scenario that astronomers have been warning us of for years - the planet earth will be struck by another killer asteroid or projectile from outer space as has happened before in the life of this planet - the only question is "when."
